Mindfulness for Communities of Color

This mindfulness session for people of color acknowledges the need for safe spaces that offer connection, mental and physical peace, and a sense of being seen by the facilitator and fellow students. Join facilitators Myra Britton, Shani Brown, and Veleisa Patton Burrell to learn about the connection between mindfulness and overall health and experience a short mindful meditation practice to reduce stress and foster connection & community. No previous mindfulness or meditation experience required.
